However, the planets are in constant motion, some faster than others, and Astrologers refer to these movements as “Transits”. If we look at the position of a particular planet right this very moment, we can superimpose it’s current position over your Birth Chart and make a note of any connections (“aspects”) it then makes to various points around your chart. Any such connection will have a significance-some more than others, and as your Astrologer, I am able to understand what each of these connections means and how they are likely to impact your life. I will look at any aspects that are set to appear over the following year, and describe to you their likely effects. In particular, I will pay close attention to any repeating patterns that show up , and will also note how certain aspects and placements may enhance or mitigate some of the influences at work elsewhere within your chart. This kind of “look ahead” at what is in store can provide you with truly valuable insight where none existed before. It is extremely useful to have a fairly good idea of what lies around the corner, especially when aspects point to situations that may be challenging. In these circumstances, forewarned really is “forearmed” and may help you to offset some of the more negative implications because you have been prepared, in advance and so are in a position to adjust things, where possible. At the very least, you will be “made aware”, which is preferable to having no idea at all of what may occur. Obviously Transits do not relate to challenging energies only- just as likely are the onset of positive, energizing influences that may begin to appear and gradually impact on your life, changing it for the better. I will discuss, in detail, all influences set to appear and in what areas of your life or inner world these are most likely to impact. For those of you with some knowledge of Astrology, I should mention my preference is to concentrate on the movements of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
