For those of you with some knowledge of Astrology, you can view my chart wheel here. Alongside Astrology, I developed an interest in other tools for Self-understanding and divination, and so began my journey with the Tarot, Oracle Cards, Runes and I Ching. Astrology and Card Readings are two ways in which we can begin to connect more fully and deeply with our Self and our Life. And when we do so, we can hopefully apply the new perspectives and considerations these offer us to effect our lives with an increase of constructive understanding and psychological insight that leaves us feeling more decisive, balanced, aware and prepared. I also read voraciously, thirsty for knowledge and understanding. My bookshelves now groan under the weight of titles covering all sorts of subjects, from Telekenisis, Remote Viewing, Telepathy and Esoterica to Life After Death, Angel Visitations, Ufology and Apocrypha…you get the picture! In addition to running this business, I am also undertaking a project to research and gather material for several non-fiction books about After-Death Communication. Information about this project and how you can contribute your own stories can be found here. Aside from my work, I am mother to a beautiful little boy called Jacob. My partner, Sean, is himself a talented Card Reader and undertakes some of the readings himself. He is also a gifted Artist, whose work can be viewed here. Work and motherhood does not leave me with much free time! But when I do have it, I enjoy creative cookery, walks along the beach, travel, board games and working out at the gym. Hello and welcome to my website, The Enchanted Land
I
first discovered Astrology astrolgy around the time I was 18. A friend
lent me a dusty old tome about the subject, which I read with
intrigue. The book included instructions on how to calculate the
various points, angles and planetary positions needed to erect
the chart, which to the neophyte I was back then, appeared overwhelmingly
complex and proved extremely challenging to grasp. At the time,
I had no idea about computers or software that did calculations
for you at the press of the button, and I wasn’t in a position
to afford signing up for a course on the subject. But I felt a
strong desire to know more, to understand this fascinating subject
beyond the superficial level. It was a compulsive pull towards
an area of knowledge that, unbeknown to me at the time, was set
to be my “calling” in life. I set about teaching myself
through acquiring various books on the subject and studying numerous
charts, and when I began to feel a measure of confidence in my
abilities, I progressed onto my first attempts at interpreting
charts for family and friends. It was quite some time before I
felt ready to charge people for this service, and over the years
I have honed my skills to a highly professional level through
undertaking interpretations for countless people and continuing
with my studies.
